I definitely like this - I love cherry perfumes. I get the cherry, and the pomegranate grouped w/ it adds a juiciness and a tartness - but it's not at all overdone to the point where you are waiting for either note to fizzle out, so that you can begin to eventually enjoy the perfume. They complement one another, and the rose adds to this complimentary factor. This is a lovely and feminine fragrance. It's not too much of anything, it's not a LOUD and obnoxious cherry - but it is still a present cherry, and the powder gives off a slight bit of "make-up bag," but it is still very enjoyable. I do like this! This is a GROWN cherry scent, a great choice for special occasions. Neither violet or violet leaves were listed here, but to me, both were very prominent in Amarena. The powdery, airy and ozonic touch to the cherry note is just brilliant. Le Gemme Amarena (USD 50, 50 ml. left, 20E73AR5) As first, I really quite have a hope for this. As the bottle looks extremely enigmatic, magical spelling. Daniela (Roche) Andrier is the perfumer, I know it must be soapy base. And you known, Ms. Daniela's signature accord. I hope for a little twist but man I do ask too much. Amarena, start of with Sour watery cherry accord and strong tuberose note. And rose warp everything up, everything is on something that a bit powdery soapy. And that's all you can get. I mean even for the price I get. I still feel a bit sad for full retail price, I wonder how bad my feelings must be. The good point is Amarena still manage to show me to rose successfully. It is the neon pink rose that quite beautiful overall but not juicy enough. Leans Lush more than Elegant. overall, It is an ok scent for me. The fruit is rather sour and may be bitter so much, that it is impossible to eat. Also it is more watery. The cheery we have in the shop are sweet and dense in flesh.
