Chasing Sunsets by Maison Martin Margiela is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Chasing Sunsets was launched in 2026. Chasing Sunsets was created by Elise Benat, Dora Baghriche, Coralie Spicher and Gabriela Chelariu. Top notes are Mango and Guatemalan Cardamom; middle notes are Tuberose and Solar Notes; base notes are Sandalwood, Vanilla and Moss. Chasing Sunsets by Maison Margiela is a unisex fragrance from the Replica collection, introduced in 2026, reviving a moment in Ipanema in 1965. The composition highlights a fruity-floral character built around mango and tuberose, supported by a sandalwood base. Mango adds a soft, tropical fruit nuance, while tuberose brings creamy white-floral facets. Sandalwood grounds the blend with a smooth, woody warmth, resulting in a modern fragrance that balances fruit, florals, and woods. Crafted by four perfumers - Elise Benat, Dora Baghriche, Coralie Spicher, and Gabriela Chelariu – is an olfactory escape to Brazil's vibrant beach culture. This addictively tropical fragrance, built around a juicy mango accord and radiant, solar white flowers, transports you to iconic Ipanema Beach for a moment of bliss suspended in time under the sun’s endless golden glow. Top notes: Mango accord, Cardamom Heart Guatemala Middle notes: Tuberose, Solar White Flowers Base notes: Sandalwood Heart New Caledonia, Vanilla Accord, Crystal Moss Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Magyar, Nederlands, Polski, Português, Română, Srpski, Svenska, Türkçe, Čeština, Ελληνικά, Монгол, Русский, Українська, עברית, العربية, 日本語, 汉语, 한국어. Unfortunately a really boring fragrance for me as a Previous customer of Margiela. Leans a bit too far into regular brand DNA for me to really get a sense of its difference. Imagine a fragrance somewhere between Jazz Club and Beach Walk with a mango top note. The good parts-The mango is strong, ozonic and warm. Consider this like a cheaper alternative to Bitter Peach. Notes shown are noticeable and there is definitely a little bit of oak moss texture in the base. Decent longevity, it's just that the scent itself isn't really that great. Unfortunately seems like their standard line is just at this point releasing a boring iteration of their brand DNA heavy handedly with this season's trending note. A beautiful bright balsamic mango opening, I can already tell this fragrance is going to cling to my skin. A little spice peeks through from beneath, and there are subtly fragrant white florals wafting past you on a sun warmed breeze. Vanilla and sandalwood softens and holds it all together nicely. The slightly cloying, fruity 'thickness' reminds me of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea and Fig, which is probably my favourite of the green tea line. I can't detect the mossy note yet...
