Sell for one simple fee
Scentfine charges sellers one fee: 10% of the sale price, taken only when a sale completes. Payment processing fees are included — you only pay one simple fee. Listing is free, buyers pay no fee, you set your own price, and you choose whether the buyer pays shipping or you offer it free.

Shipping: you choose who pays
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the buyer's address and the parcel, and the buyer pays it on top of the item price. You keep the full $90.
Free shipping means you pay for it: buy one of Scentfine's discounted shipping labels, powered by Shippo. With a $6 label you keep $84 ($90 − $6).
Sales tax is collected from the buyer and never comes out of your payout.
Getting paid
Paid through Stripe, 3 days after delivery
Scentfine pays sellers through Stripe Connect. Connect your bank account once in your seller settings. When a buyer pays, the money is held securely by Stripe — not by the buyer and not by the seller — until the order is delivered.

The 3-day window gives the buyer time to check the bottle. How quickly the transfer then reaches your account depends on Stripe and your bank.

Buyer Protection
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Payment is held until delivery, and if a bottle is confirmed counterfeit the buyer gets a full refund. Buyers pay no protection fee.
Seller Protection
The buyer has paid before you ship, so you never send a bottle on a promise. Tracked delivery protects you against false "never arrived" claims, and every dispute is decided on evidence — photos, tracking and messages — not on whoever complains first.
Scams & fakes
How we deal with scammers
Scentfine reviews listings, watches for suspicious accounts, and investigates every report. Honest buyers and sellers are protected; accounts that try to cheat either side are removed.
Selling fakes or misleading buyers
If the evidence shows a seller:
- sold a counterfeit bottle or fake / diluted liquid,
- misdescribed the condition — for example a used bottle listed as new,
- overstated the fill level — for example a near-empty bottle listed as 80% full,
then the buyer is refunded, the money from that sale is taken back from the seller, and the seller is banned from Scentfine.

How much do I get if I sell a $100 fragrance?
$90. The 10% seller fee is $10. If the buyer pays shipping, it is calculated at checkout and your $90 stays whole; if you offer free shipping, the label you buy comes out of your side (e.g. $90 − $6 = $84).
When do I get paid?
Payouts go through Stripe Connect. Your money is released 3 days after the buyer's delivery is confirmed, then Stripe sends it to the bank account you connected.
Who pays for shipping?
You decide. Either the buyer pays shipping, calculated at checkout from their address and the parcel, or you offer free shipping and pay for it yourself with one of Scentfine's discounted labels, powered by Shippo.
What happens if a seller sells a fake or misdescribes a bottle?
If evidence shows a bottle is counterfeit or was misrepresented, the buyer is refunded, the seller's money from that sale is recovered, and the seller is banned from Scentfine.
