I'm wearing this side by side to Aqua pour homme Marine and this is much sweeter. It could be due to the pear that's been used in the toniq, or it could be the aqua marine had more citrus in them which subdues the sweetness. Both have this overarching seaweed accord which can be divisive, but now that I grew older than when I first smelled them I appreciate it more. It's disappointing that Bulgari has decided discontinue the whole line. Unless compared to the modern fragrances I believe a unique and more mature scent that's easy to wear. You'll get the salty sweet, slightly fishy, kinda spicy and very marine. It's refreshing to smell as it differs itself from the usual classics or musculine men's scents out there. It has its similarities to Aqva Marine which is actually more marine (fishy salty). The grapefruit and pear here actually blends rather well with the seaweed saltiness and sea notes and then the sandalwood making it a salty sweet aromatic sandalwood scent development. This is definitely a good wear at the pool or beach and outdoors, or just exactly like now on raining day outside. I'm not too sure about the schools and offices because it may seem that you may have just returned from a day out from a fishing trip or the sea/oceans. Still a very nice addictive smell that's different. The most underrated aqua fragrances. Just got the toniq PH and toniq marine. Both are excellent excellent fragrances. Love it...
