When I wear it full wear, this Aqva Divina is actually like a unisex perfume line. Because I think the woody and marine accords are clearly visible on my skin. The floral scent is actually like shadow 🤣. When I used it, there was a perfume that was similar to this. But I forgot, I remembered again, it turned out to be similar to Aqva Amara which was discontinued a long time ago. In Indonesia, Aqva Divina is still sold, it's still safe. But Aqva Amara is really rare I recently bought this and used it tonight. Hmm… I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. There’s this weird note in there which (to my nose) smells like leather and yet leather is not listed in the notes. I think I’ll be passing this one along. Unique, serene and spicy. The opening is beautiful and I wish it stuck around longer. Smells expensive! Strange how it's aquatic, marine, and has a distinct beeswax note throughout. Stunning. The drydown is soft and sweet (Amber) and very elevated. It's a perfumey take on "your skin but better". It's softly salty but high-key with the ginger + bergamot opening. It reminds me of crushing juniper berries in your hands; skin + aromatic sweetness. The ginger is lovely and very spicy. A round magnolia and quince softens the initial notes and it settles into a something that reads almost gourmand as the sweetness wafts by with the beeswax. The beeswax is beautiful and the whole composition is so amazingly blended. Not a safe blind buy. Try if you like aromatic perfumey perfumes and enjoy, or are curious about, beeswax in perfumes.
