Aqva Amara, or "bitter water", is a fragrance filled with energy and light symbolized with its copper color bottle. The composition includes accords of Sicilian mandarin mixed with oil of neroli flower. The base notes are Indonesian patchouli and white incense olibanum. Famous male model Jon Kortajarena poses on a beach as a sun kissed Greek god. The campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. I still have half bottle of this lovely scent. It's orangy, fresh, zesty, mineral and light incensy. Still can´t belive that they discontinued this gem. It´s have a good projection and longevity....and smell soo good, mostly a summer/spring fragrance. 9/10 Bvlgari Aqva Amara is a fragrance that takes the brightness of Mediterranean citrus and twists it into something far more intriguing. It opens with an orange note that feels both corrupted and luminous—a sun-kissed fruit touched by something darker, saltier, and more mysterious. This duality gives the scent an immediate edge, setting it apart from the typical fresh summer aquatics. There’s a soft warmth underneath, almost smoldering, which transforms the fragrance from a simple fresh scent into something sensual and captivating. Aqva Amara is perfect for cool summer evenings—nights when the air is crisp and refreshing, yet the atmosphere is charged with heat and inflamed by passion. It’s the kind of scent that feels both clean and dangerously enticing. Had 5-6 100ml bottles and a 50ml all gone now. Got a couple of bottles of Amorist it’s a decent clone but not perfect and performance is a little less. Amorist is 85% in terms of scent and 80% of performance. I wish Bvlgari would bring this back or even better fine tune it and remove some of the harshness even if it goes into Le Gemme. One of the summer greats. RIP my friend.
