Out of my Jasmin Noirs this might be my favourite together with Splendida this winter. It is delicate and smoky, the least floral out of the lot. Only Splendida has a substantial though gentle presence on me in winter. This blends in with my natural scent, I feel it very lightly. It is musky with calm jasmine note and the top notes of sugar, pink pepper and orange create an illusion. I might like it the most scent-wise but I regret it does not have more presence. Reminds me slightly of Gucci Guilty. Unfortunately it also lasts 2 hours like the others pre Splendida. I absolutely adore this perfume. It's pure indulgence. Raisins are indeed the most prominent note, but when the almond and jasmine come in the spotlight... It's exquisite. Citrus notes emerge last on me, but they don't make their presence too obvious. Unfortunately, the middle notes don't last that long and the drydown is mostly raisinous. I would have loved for the combination of almond and jasmine to last till the end. I would describe this as balmy, warm and sweet. Very sensual and seductive. Preferably to be worn at night. The downside here is longevity and unfortunately the cap. However, I wouldn't trade this gorgeous, vintage inspired bottle. It's worth it. This is beautiful, classy and elegant. I want to bathe myself in it and never be without it. Such a nice, grown-up scent. Just beautiful. Floral vanilla, just sweet enough to be considered a women's fragrance. It reminds me of Mugler's Aura, but without the herbiness, with an added Flora by Gucci 1966 touch. I can definitely feel the almonds, there's this unmistakable green bitterness. I do own Aura and it's really almost identical in the dry down. When I run out of Aura though, I will buy this instead. I prefer it without that sharp greenness. You know it's going to be a lovely day when you can't stop sniffing yourself! :) Perhaps a better name for this beautiful, although misnamed, scent would have been Résine Sombre. A scent that contains a beautiful benzoi...
