I initially stated that it is good for winter night, but today it feels appropiate for a day in cold weather. Possibly gorgeous for autumn or spring too. The start is near identical but sweeter than the Splendide version. I feel gardenia and green notes the most but soon many facets are revealed - musk, almonds, tonka beans, licorice. But the scent is subtle. The Splendide lasted near 12 hours on me. The Jasmin Noir is gone after 2 hours in this weather. Beautiful jasmine and sandalwood duo.
