BLV Notte Pour Homme by Bvlgari is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men. BLV Notte Pour Homme was launched in 2004. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Masculine, but gentle at the same time, oriental woody fragrance with dark chocolade accord in its base leaving a delicate and intimate trail on the skin. The elegant lady-killer scent; women just fall for chocolate. A lush blend of galangal, tobacco blossom, dark chocolate and ginger- the same composition found in BLV Notte Pour Femme, while the masculinity is accentuated with spices and woody notes. This quietly intimate and gently sweet fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas in 2004. Clean fragrance, this is very manly yet simple at the same time, Fresh but woody at the same time, kinda herbal. I got one of these in my collection and i love the scent, but the performance leaves alot to be desired, i got some armaf, V&R and other Bvlgari and they all perform a bit better and stringer. I really wish Bvlgari relaunch this one with an EDP version just like they did with the Pour Homme (THAT ONE IS WAY BETTER THAN THE OG) I know this is a well loved fragrance, so I'll keep my criticism to it being a bit headache inducing when over-applied. That's not abnormal for any fragrance, though. When applied appropriately, this is an extremely enjoyable cologne that doesn't feel "unisex" like many fragrances I enjoy. Lavender, anise, cardamom, mint, galangal and cedar stick out. While very good, for casual wear, I wouldn't say it's worth paying a high price for. There's just many more fragrances available nowadays for men that are more complex. Side note: it makes me sneeze more than other fragrances. If some fragrances make you sneeze excessively, this may be worth passing up. I've been on a MASSIVE nostalgia trip, sniffing some of the oldest scents in my collection, and today I chanced upon BLV Notte -- an instant LOVE. It's such a good feeling when I realise that I STILL love this scent, even after 18 - 20 years of this sitting on my shelf, largely unappreciated and unused. I have a bottle that is THAT old -- I don't even know if this is discontinued, reformulated, or, if people even CARE about this one any more -- I just put it on for the first time in around 10 years, and I am in love with it STILL. Lavender is the most prominent note, and it's coloured through the prism of some dainty spices, some light woods and a fair amount of non-lactonic chocolate, and all the elements work perfectly together. I don't see myself reaching for this all that often, and it'll likely be a home scent, but I still love it, even after ALL this...
