Why did they discontinue this perfume? Personally, I liked it even better than the original. A burst of red berries, violet and rose. It was beautifully done, and I never found it overly sweet - it managed to be both cute and sensual, playful even. It was a real little delight. What a pity... The rich blackberry scent Is very prominent then when it cools on the skin the rose sweet scent shines through .. with white musk and violet .. The longevity is high compared to other YSL perfumes .. I’ve been wearing this to bed recently after coming across a rare, reasonably-priced 50ml flacon online, since this is discontinued and hard to find in the UK now. It starts off sweet and jammy - the blackberry, damask rose and violet readily detectable. It quickly deepens into a scent that I can best describe as roses steeped in red wine, a boozy blackberry-rose with an undertone of incense and suede. These base notes last for hours and hours. A suede-rose scent is still there when I wake up in the mornings. Definitely a night scent, although you can probably get away with this in daytime too, due to the opening sweetness. I’m currently using it during freezing weather, but I notice it performs better when the house...
