Patchouli, Patchouli, and you guessed it, Patchouli. A relatively fresh opening that I find quickly fades into the patchouli bomb that this fragrance seems to be known for. It is a note that I am particularly sensitive to. Either it makes me nauseous or I love it. This falls towards the latter. An example of a couple that make me nauseous are Philly Blunt and Monkey Special. I bought a decant for wedding season this year and I do believe it will be a perfect addition to my arsenal. Lastly, call me crazy, but the drydown on this is fairly adjacent to Tom Ford Ombre Leather My nose is weird on this one. The scent brings me right back to walking through a pigsty throwing feed to the pigs. And all through my 5 different wears, Tuxedo didn't magically morph into something elegant and beautiful for a sophiscated gentleman. But continued to remind me of being on my dads farm. While I find that smell to be a small comfort at times. It is a scent I would not ever wear again or curse the noses of the people around me to endure. While most people as is apparent by the reviews have a very different experience with the fragrance. So my consenseus is. Try it before you buy it please. Don't gamble your money just end up maybe smelling of a pigsty 😄 The scent is nice imho it reminds me of carlisle. But its cleaner and someone who is rich and successful wears it. As for the price, no I wouldnt pay full price or get a bottle. I have a 10ml decant and Im good with it. Performance is average. Its not bad like some people say but its certainly not beast mode. For me I dont have too many use cases for it. I wouldnt wear it to work. If I was going to a formal Id wear naxos. Dates Id prefer carlisle or side effect or even prada lhomme intense.
