I would recommend people to not macerate this fragrance, at least not for more than a month or 2. I macerated mine for probably close to 4 months and the blackcurrant note has become so strong it now smells like dried piss with some florals and the performance hasn't improved at all. Overall its a really cheap cologne and I'd recommend people to spend a little bit more money on a better smw alternative, the extra 10 or $20 will be worth it. I bought this by mistake (I thought I was getting a bottle of the original Derby Club House), and I'm not a big fan of Creed's SMW or the dupes of it that are out there, BUT.... objectively speaking, this is a pretty nice fragrance all around. It is very loud and will choke you out of if you try to overspray with it, and the durability is excellent. My biggest complaint with SMW dupes is that the black currant note needs to be dialed down considerably; if it was about half or 1/4 the amount you normally get in a fragrance, it would be awesome. There's more going on than JUST the black currant note, let some of it have spotlight. I showed this to a friend of mine who is a huge SMW fan, and according to him, this was one of the nicer SMW dupes he'd come across. His direct comparison to it was to Mefisto by Xerjoff. I honestly love this! Very crisp and fresh scent. Very neutral but more feminine than masculine to me because of the powdery dry down. It was actually a blind buy to get free shipping on an order and I do not regret it! The only thing is that I wish the fragrance stayed a bit longer on my skin. By 1-2 hours this scent is completely gone. Smells very pleasant and calming but DO NOT OVER SPRAY!!! this has a very weak scent with a strong scent trail but very little scent bubble. If you over spray to try and force a scent bubble it WILL choke out people. The green tea in this is very very dry smelling and if you inhale a lot of that scent it genuinely feels like your throat is closing up. Even people who are nowhere near you will get choked by this if you do 10 or more sprays so just keep it light for the sake of humanity. For $23 can't go wrong but the longevity really sucks like it's actually gone after 2 hours, and the base notes are never present.
