Nice winter warm perfume with opening of orange and cinnamon. Middle notes are powdery spicy with pepper,orris and clove. Dry down after one hour I can smell the wood and leather. It has a rich dark feel to it on drydown (not as dark as the Gourmand alcohol frags!) and I tend to reach out for this perfume whenever I am wearing black. Sillage is good but not overbearing. Longevity of base notes is 4 hours after which it becomes a woody powdery only skin scent. Many people say it's sweet but I cannot smell any sweet notes except for the orange peel opening. There is a bit of YSL Y and some TF Noir Extreme blend going on in here. Good date night or movie night perfume. I won't wear this in summer however. Good value for money! Just give it a few minutes to settle and the warm spices and woods become more prominent. Beautiful scent for $20 and smells so much more expensive than it is. I'm assuming that a few weeks of maturation will help fix the harsh opening like it did with my bottle of CDN Intense and CDN Iconic.
