I am no perfume expert but I really just adore this fragrance so much. It reminds me of my grandmother. Not because she work a rose scent but because she loved, and grew, roses. I only wish it would last longer. I could bathe in this stuff. It's fresh and soapy, but not in the bad way. Better than a plain rose water (it's French after all), smells like having a refreshing shower with rose soap. Will be a nice summer scent. Has nothing to do with the original Paris, though. This one is an innocent rose while Paris is naughty. I'm utterly dissapointed with this perfume. I'm a hughe fan of Paris and I bought this untested thinking "well if Paris is absolut perfection this cannot be anything less" Dear was I wrong!!! The smell is of really cheap supermarket cologne, really pungent, the kind of smell that gets stuck inside your nostrils and gives you a nasty headache even when you smell it from far away. I have tried using it a few times thinking that maybe somehow it would develop into something like georgeous Paris but no, it just stays the same forever. If anyone is willing to swap I'll be more than happy. =( Oh dear. i honestly took the lid off, squirted it in the air....then on a card, but i can't even bring myself to have it on my skin. by no means is my opinion a reflection of the integrity of this scent. and it tells me so much about scents being part of our memories and experiences as much as the scent themselves! i cannot smell the roses in this...i have beautiful smelly sweet blooms in my garden and they have absolutely no resemblance to the roses in Pa...
