This is warm, vanilla, a hint of coffee & patchouli, warm spicy. Nice sophisticated, night out, fall/winter scent. Although I do wear it to work, where I get lots of compliments. The silage & longevity are both great, you can smell it good enough, but not overbearing where it takes up the entire room, lasting power is awesome, especially if you spray your clothes, doesn’t come off until you wash them. If you like subtle, spicy vanilla scents, you would like this. I appreciate that it's not cupcaky or geared towards the younger teen audience. And yes, this scent is identical to the original black opium edp. Yes, different bottle, same scent. Bottle is cool !! I have put on YSL Black Opium on one hand, and Sofia Vergara Love on the other....and...guess what..??..They are so so similar! I would say about 95 % similar.But,YSL BO wins the race IMHO. I find a little more "depth" in the YSL. There is a little "something" that fades away in the Sofia Love,that remains with the YSL. I will continue to love and wear both scents,however,for the price difference...Sofia Love can keep me more than satified too !!!
