This was one that got away from me, too, @yungmich. I thought the bottle was pretty and the composition looked intriguing and charming, and at that time I could ALWAYS rely on YSL for quality. But I didn’t jump on it because I wondered whether it might be too girlish for me. Now, however, I’m not concerned about such labels. I’m free to wear what I like. This perfume was also featured in the film “Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress”. I love to see perfumes in movies and literature. Ah well. I’ve always loved the bottle design and been so curious to get my hands on this! I managed to find a mini bottle of this as a blind buy. This perfume has been discontinued for a long time, so all the bottles going around are old, and I don’t know how mine was stored.. At first when I tried it, it smelled very soapy and stale. Just pure soap with a slight bit of sweet citrus. Definitely noticed a similar dna as YSL - Paris, and had that sort of early 2000s feel to it. So first out of the bottle that had been sitting for who knows how long, I didn’t like it. Then the second time I tried it and poured more out on my wrist, the scent came to life! Suddenly the staleness was totally gone and I was met with a very fruity fragrance. A very sour pineapple is the star of this fragrance. It’s almost sharp to the nose and fresh. When the pineapple note starts to fade, you will smell the sweet and soft tangerine. Eventually, it turns powdery. Overall, I don’t usually go for these kind of scents, so it’s still not really to my liking, but I’ll keep the mini for now because the bottle is cute.
