For such peppery-rose oxide-Cashmeran profile it's hard to beat Comme des Garçons - Zero. This is nice, but Zero provides better value & scent. Spicy smokey rose wood. As a whole it smells just like many other rose iterations that it becomes redundant. It's my least impressive scent of this line. Definitely smells similar to Rose 31 without the cumin, but the cumin is what made Rose 31 special imo. This is a luminous incense fragrance with a spicy rosy pepper. Which creates that impression of a rose. So this also shares some of those similarities to rose and incense combos, although this is light and twinkling like fog at night. I do detect in the far dry down those slightly scratchy Diptyque style musks that are present in Fleur de Peau and Orpheon. I like this quite a lot. Not quite as robust as I was hoping. Pairing this with Orphéon body wash this warm summer morning — absolutely beautiful. I feel so expensive. I want everyone to smell me. Lunamaris’ is not the conventional amber, incense-y fragrance to me. It’s so light and airy. I feel like I should be walking through the streets of Milan, or Prague. What a high-society, old money Me smells like. I know that doesn’t help much for those who aren’t me LOL. But god I truly feel like I should be wearing the biggest black sunnies, with a fresh blowout, can-totally-walk-in-heels-all-day-long-without-breaking-a-sweat attitude. Fresh powdery clean skin from the Orphéon, but just this side of grandma where it smells like an heiress. Lunamaris adds this salty mineral touch, a hint of depth and glistening light on the surface, like, oh who is this woman by the water? Who is she wearing? Would she even acknowledge my presence if I were to ask? Love love. Too bad it’s so expensive ㅠ Tried this in store today and it was instantly a need. I tested it on my skin and can still smell it 8+ hours later. The notes blend well, it’s a clean spicy smell. It’s unisex and sits close to the skin but you can still smell it in the air as you move.
