This is not a favorite but it is a nice spicy scent. I have an inspired scent from Genre Parfums and it's close to the original. On me the original still held it spicy scent of the cardamon and cloves. It smelled nice on me but I think it would smell better on a male. This smells like a Christmas tea, or Christmas candle/diffuser. Very spicy, with a "cloves stuck into an orange"-vibes, and it also smells like a burning wax candle to me, with balsamic and incense notes. It even sometimes smells like gingerbread cookies. Overall: the inside of a house can smell like that, and I'd enjoy it. This is the ultimate Christmas fragrance. It reminds me of a proposal during a candlelit dinner right before Christmas... but I don't want to wear it on my body. It's a great fruity balsamic perfume. However the notes, its not green apple as the page implies, it's more herbal than that Persistant? YES! "BeastMode" NEGATIVE! When fks claim tbis smells like Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Gum, they are SPOT ON, but the scent is much spicier with a heavy, GORGEOUS Clove note ehich helps it lean morw "Unisex" rather than Feminine and the scent doesn'ttransition much which is fine by me bc I don'tget tired of it. With around 6 to 7 spritzes.Dolce Amalfi does project "Well" for the first hour to hour and a half, then I'm left with a quite moderate (at best) sillage. This scent does last atleast 7 1/2 to 9 hours on skin creating a very pleasant yet soft, lingering scent bubble. It lasts a day or two on clothes. What I really appreciate about Dolce Amalfi besides the gorgeous scent is that I dont go nose-blind to it, and although its NOT a hugh projection beast, I catch whiffs of it through out the entire day. As for right now, Dolce Amalfi is by far ny all time FAVE "Fruity Scent" and give it a 9 outta 10! I do wish it projected a bit more, but if that were the case I may have been going nose-blind and therefore would be able to enjoy throughout the day. wow this is a strange but beautiful and addictive fragrance.
