Opens with sparkly strawberry, citrus, and florals.. I can definitely smell the woody base under but the rest blends together beautifully~ It isn't cloying at all, which I appreciate It turns into a slightly powdery, cozy, sweet scent from the vanilla, amber, and cedar that still stands out from other scents I've collected.. There's always something a little earthy that balances out the sweetness to prevent it from being yet another gourmand Its feminine and ladylike, but still grounded enough to wear every day~ I think of classy trench coats and heels feminine, rather than vintage and overly lacey? Both are great, but Valentina feels like a modern girl :) I love this for spring especially, but reach for it year round! Its one of my favorite scents! I have the original version of this in the bottle with the 3 flowers. I bought this from Macy’s right whenever it first launched in 2011. I used to wear this more in my 20s, but I do occasionally still reach for it, especially if I’m wanting something romantic feeling. Romantic, Floral, softly sweet, earthy, fruity, powdery, woody, feminine, sensual, lady like, classy, elegant, chic, luxe, charming, whimsical, enchanting, delicate, dreamy I get brighten bergamot in the opening along with an earthiness from the truffle. As it begins drying down it smooths out into a bed of creamy white florals with just a hint of strawberry. Once it’s dried down the white florals are wrapped in a powdery blanket of soft vanilla, warm amber, and woody cedar. This is beautiful, ultra-feminine, and effortlessly chic. It’s very girly ladylike and romantic, think ruffles and lace kind of girly (which is funny because I have this beautiful shirt with both ruffles and lace that I’ve always loved wearing with this perfume). I think the original bottle captures the feeling of the fragrance wonder...
