It is a nice very polite oud and incense. Assume it is not deep enough for the Middle Easter taste. As the whole line it lacks the longevity and projection, which is a big miss for a such expensive perfume. But the composition itself is very unique as any of this line fragrances. My wallet is still voting "yes" :-) Lazulia does not smell of Jasmine, Incense and Oud. Don't let the notes fool you, it has so much more going on. It opens up with a bubblegum accord, a sweet pink bubblegum to be exact, with a good dose of slightly bitter agarwood. As it settles, I smell a sweet red rose, a hint of non indolic jasmine and a soothing warmth from the incense. It smells almost edible in the beginning but that soon changes. It takes a slightly different turn in the drydown. It becomes more floral and warm on the skin, it blooms and becomes deeper and richer. The notes are so well blended you can't really identify each one individually except for the incense which is always present in the background. Lazulia is a sweet, modern floral with woods and incence. To me, it smells like modern day pot pourri and sweet pink bubblegum. It is comforting and snuggly, perfect for the colder months.
