It does smell like an Aventus clone. It opens with a giant citrus blast similar to what they say about Club De Nuit Intense Man. Although it doesn't smell harsh to me it smells extremely juicy and almost like it has a pineapple note too. I'm not sure what batch or anything like that it's trying to clone, but it basically smells like Aventus. Unfortunately I seem to go nose blind to Aventus type fragrances so I'm not sure if this projects real well or leaves a good trail, but I can smell it on my skin for nearly 24hrs. I gotta say for the price it's excellent, and what a cool bottle. Received it as a gift, let it macerate for 3 months. I have started using it for daily officewear. The opening is a bit too citrusy for me and it feels kind of trying to fight the overall fragrance but once the citrus settles down it gets much better and i'm able to smell it throughout work and also have received compliments over it. So overall a pretty good fragrance for the price, just apply it 15 mins before going out for the citrus to settle down and you're good to go.
