This has quickly become one of my favorites to wear to work. It's undeniably masculine and has decent longevity. I can't stand sweet and bubblegum smelling "men's" fragrances, and this is perfect! An absolute hidden gem! It's a mediocre fragrance imo. Smells like celery sticks to me. One of my favorite perfumes ever. The best drydown, especially on soft clothes. Once I sprayed my shirt with this perfume, put it in my wardrobe for 3 months, after it smelled like a freshly sprayed. I can’t understand people who say this doesn’t last long. For those that desperately miss this fragrance, like me, Azzaro Pour Homme Cologne Intense eventually lands on the same beautiful base as Exceptionnel. You just have to get through its lime opening and herbal mid, takes about an hour and then there it is, Exceptionnel. I have also spent the $200 USD to get a bottle of Exceptionnel to have the full experience. Such a shame, when it sold for $30 USD it was incredible value, I wouldn’t be recommending anyone pay what I paid. It’s pretty good. I’ve yet to find a Montblanc that I dislike, but likewise I’ve yet to find one that blows me away. A clean, orange forward spicy fragrance. Like most Montblanc fragrances I’ve tried, it’s a compliment MAGNET but it doesn’t last. Absolutely worth a try if you can find it, but I can’t say I’d pay more than $50-60 for a bottle. Homme Exceptional Mont Blanc was my favourite fragrance. It is discontinued now. It was woody aromatic fragrance, opening with citrus (orange) then comes ginger, mint (may be light note of coffee) and at the end musk, amber & patchouli make the base notes. I couldn't find it's alternative, clone or impressions from anywhere. Tried many perfumes like D&G The One, Dior Homme EDT (2020), Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, YSL La Nuit, Versace EROS, YSL Y etc etc. But couldn't find it's alternative. Dior Homme EDT (2020) was somehow close in opening. Can anyone suggest it's effective alternative. Great scent again discontinued? Pretty much similar to Dunhill pursuit! With coffee touch! Love it💝 Orange, booze and anise (neither listed), lovely smooth blend, could have been a great night out fragrance but for abysmal performance.
