This oddly smells like a 'lighter' Hypnotic Poison to my nose. The citrus notes are present in the very beginning, but it settles down into creamy vanilla with candied almond. I like it a lot, more than Hypnotic, truth be told... I had high hopes for this based on the reviews but it was unfortunately a let-down. It smells like if you took all the ingredients in the kitchen (spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice) and threw them together but not in a good way. I love sweet scents but this sweetness isn't a good one. It's a shame since the juice color is a pretty pink and that's what I was hoping for. I suppose I should have expected the unexpected as the title implies. This fragrance is quite basic in my opinion, it is not worth paying over $200. Even though im an avid collector of the Poison line, I dont care for the Poison Girls, especially the other 2 (EDP & EDT) which are overly sweet for the sake of mass appeal. It is insulting to associate them with Poison. I wont be purchasing these again, no offence to anyone who likes them💔😔 Ps. This doesn't smell like Midnight Poison in my opinion, you're better off spending your $200 on Elle by YSL instead of this if you want something similar to MP. It reminds me of the midnight poison even though it does not have any patchouli. I also reminds me a little of Prada La Femme intense. I did not enjoy the first Poison Girl edp as it was too cloying on me. This is amazing and intoxicating. Not girlie fresh. I find it very mysterious scent.
