Category: Almond, vanilla Notes: Sprays on quite alcoholic, with a milky, slightly powdery almond and a very mild jasmine in the background. As this continues to develop, more of that vanilla develops, but this is ultimately almond-heavy, much like the original Hypnotic Poison. This flanker is, however, missing the aromatic qualities of the OG. There's also something a little bit green in here as well that I can't quite pinpoint, which makes it feel a little lighter and brighter than the OG. Call me crazy, but after a few hours, I do think I pick up on a bit of sandalwood as well, even though that isn't listed in the pyramid. Vibe: Blonde highlights. Baywatch. Lunch dates. Expensive facial treatments. Lotion. Hourglass. Lukewarm sand. VIP. Bungalow. Off-white linen. Cream colored everything. Sillage: 4.5/10. Modest projection. It teeters on intimate but is not mild enough to qualify as a skin scent. Longevity: 10/10. Genuinely impressive longevity on this one as I could still detect it, albeit very faintly, on my wrist well over 24 hours after first spraying it on. Holds up even better on clothes. Wear: Strict daytime scent. Suitable for all year round, but ideal for spring and summer. Office wear approved. Very feminine. Suitable for any age wearer but ideal for someone in their late 20s to late 30s. Overall rating: 4/10. It's not bad, but it also isn't speaking to me.
