I almost passed out from nausea when I wore this out in the heat, so when I say it's for spring I mean a colder, breezier springtime. I's good for the changing seasons. I feel like I'm suffocating and have a headache everytime I uncap the bottle, but I try to bear through it without vomitting as the cloying, overly synthetic top notes evaporate. Then, an hour or two in, it mellows out. There is such a nice complexity in the middle notes, noteably the wild strawberry, that I keep going back to smell my wrists. Definitely heavy and jammy, but restating my words from earlier, it is wonderfully grounding on a cold, breezy spring night. Only the synthetic, deeply headache inducing parts of this perfume remain on clothes, so don't let it lay its sickening fingers on any fabric... I finally tested both Essence and Parfum yesterday. I really like them both, but i think this one won as the one i love best. On the card samples i have, Parfum is stronger and bigger. Better projecting. But its also just more beautiful to me. Although their beauty is very similar and its not easy to pick one. Deep ripe strawberry (might as well be blackberry) with deep woods and a better use of patchouli than in the Essence flanker. Tart, and as many say here, jammy. But not gourmand. In Essence i smell patchouli MORE, listed in notes or not. I get bored of miss dior and chanel patchoulis. I love patchouli, but, unlike many, i don't love the way they are used in the very classic houses. Anyhoo… i love Parfum, and i want it! Very nice smell almost fruity kind of.I think it lasts very long on me and been complimented by 4 different people when wearing this one.All thought i’d say it is quite pricey but a lovely fragrance generally i love this, i sampled some miss dior fragrances before and i dont think any of them made such an impression on me. it is a very comforting scent, quite fruity at first but it's subdued later by (what i assume is) moss & amberwood. has a nice depth and stays on your clothes and hair forever. truly beautiful.
