I got into perfumery bc i loved vintages- but this is dated in a completely awful way imo. Theres something interestingly grassy and chypre like about this but it just smells like such dated aromachemicals and has such a distinct urinal cake accord i cant get over. Even if youre looking to smell grandma chic- i assure you look elsewhere, get quelques fleurs by houbigant or a chanel or something but this I would never want to smell in any context, not even just for historical intrigue. Frankly, i rue its existence, and not to be dramatic but think this fragrance deserves to be collected into a pile somewhere and burned. Okay basic cilantro vintage just like a lot of the others and i deeply deeply hate vintage smelling fragrances BUT this thing got me a bit confused ? The really first thing i got is galbanum and vintage dna and its polarizing But when i took another sniff i’m starting to get smthng really attractive about it The patchouli ! I like patchouli so much especially when its mixed with some sort of another sharp note just like galbanum but taht doesn’t mean i will ignore the pungent cilantro smell If i smelled it on someone I would only get cilantro and I wouldn’t be satisfied but when i only focus i start to get the patchouli that interested me I think the best vintage i’ve tried so far Miss Dior Eau de Toilette Originale by Dior is a fragrance that I deeply love, not only because of its heritage but also for the way it gracefully balances elegance with freshness.
