Well this flanker just got better with time. Went from 07 Cherie which was well, ok, then the second blooming Cherie I liked, now the current non Cherie blooming bouquet is the best version and I love it. Even more so, I love the absolutely blooming flanker. In fact I'm wearing it right now and though when I 1st smelled it I thought it was an OD springtime scent. It really is suitable for all seasons and any time of day! It's fresh and floral, but just dark and sweet enough to be very versatile. I sell decants. DM me I have this formulation and the 2011 formulation, and both are exactly the same except the opening for this one. This opens with a sharp, almost bitter citrusy musk scent. That lasts about 20-30 minutes and then goes into the heart, which is exactly the same as the 2011 formulation. Longevity for this formulation is shorter. It's basically gone within 4 hours while the 2011 version is still lingering on my scent (albeit very faintly). For some reason, this scent doesn't feel like the most unique, yet I haven't encountered another fragrance that is like this. A lightly powdery, sweet (but not overly so) floral that's the perfect spring/summertime scent with a youthful, fresh vibe. These are pretty hard to come by in the US--I have 3 bottles (between the 2011 and this version) and 2 of them came from Asia and 1 from Canada. The bottle is exquisite; my favourite of all perfume bottles, even cuter than Mon Paris and Pink Bouquet. It's what every little girl dreams of having on her dresser, without being tacky. Alongside La Petite Robe Noire, this was one of the first perfume bottles I had to have, once I had my own dresser. It's a girly-girl staple. Given the playful design, I envisioned this being a very girl and young fragrance; far from it, I feel as though I've stepped back in time and nabbed this from the dresser of an early 20th century Princess.
