Miss Dior Original Extrait de Parfum by Dior is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Miss Dior Original Extrait de Parfum was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. In Spring 2014 Dior presented the collection of Dior Les Extraits, which includes five cult fragrances for women by Dior and in perfumery in general. The collection encompasses mini editions available as perfume extract: Miss Dior, Miss Dior Original, Diorissimo, Poison and J’adore, which are, as announced by Dior, "much more than fragrances, because they possess philosophy of perfumers: the spirit of Dior radiant through the tiniest details, pervading perfumes in all phases of production, from their creation to meticulous selection of raw ingredients, art of bottling to delicacy of packaging." Miss Dior Original is the revolutionary chypre-green fragrance launched back in 1947, which conveys the essence of Indonesian patchouli and oak moss combined with galbanum, May rose absolute and sambac jasmine absolute. I'm not saying making profit or changing is bad. It's just that there always seem to be people with little knowledge in a particular professional field and already consider themselves as knowledgeable as real professionals in that field, and use their power of controlling finance to mess with the original works. ( I believe this is called "Dunning-Kruger effect.") Or even worse, they judge the works by the perfumers in favour of them, instead of aesthetics, individual philosophy and appreciation of originality. This does not only happen to those legendary designer brands, and I think there are some haunting in those so-called "niche perfume brands" already. I heartily resonate with @madonnatella's comment here and felt a bit frustrated about this phenomenon in a broader scale, not just Dior. I stumbled upon this comment and just leave it here. :/ no. these weren't the ingredients of the 'original Miss Dior' 1947 perfume. in the labyrinth of flankerism, dilutions, dupisms and marketcentered 'eaus of eaus' thèn you still had the 'old lady perfumes' which shocked the hell out of you. the original ingredients wer...
