How I love it when my parfume change during a day. J'Adore L'Absolu changes also with seasons. Now, indoors autumn it is a bubble gummy, solar floral. In the spring it is woody and deep. The flowers are hard to pinpoint, they are thoroughly blended into a radiant, joyous fluid. The most prominent are ylang and jasmin with a dose of tuberose, softened by a drop of rose. One can also feel the fruity notes and clean musk. The woods are nowhere to be detected yet, contrary to spring performance when they are immediate. One of my favourite scents, instant sunshine bottled. Wonderful oily white floral, but there is also some sort of almost aquatic note, which always threatens to give me a migraine. This note sort of adds lift and freshness and makes the fragrance more like fresh flowers than the kind of white floral blast in perfumes like Fracas that some people dislike (but I love). Unfortunately this one for me is probably something I can only enjoy sporadically, maybe on a strip, but would probably become cloying and give me a headache after a while on skin. this is simply stunning and addicting! very classy, very rich, and the jasmine here is unbelievably realistic. this is a true floral fragrance that smells very clean with good performance and still maintains an airy and light scent. a must have if you like jasmine. could be a signature scent if it weren't so pricey. This is an improvement on the original, and while it shares some of J'Adore's DNA, it is quite a different fragrance. L'Absolu's ingredients are of a higher quality, and it is a richer scent than the original. I have a pre-2018 miniature. The white floral opening of L'Absolu is exquisite. The jasmine which dominates the opening is beautiful: just the right balance between green and slightly indolic. Ylang-ylang also features, and is comforting and sweetly feminine. As it dries down, rose and tuberose also make an appearance. The tuberose note, missing from the original J'Adore, is uncharacteristically subtle, complementing the other florals beautifully and adding sensual luxury. The florals are natural-smelling, reminiscent of a high-quality bouquet. As it develops, L'Absolu becomes increasingly soft and soapy. A hint of peach emerges after a little while, providing soft sweetness, but this scent is much more floral than fruity, unlike J'Adore. ...
