For me, it is the worst fragrance that I have ever smelled from Dior. It's a nice bedtime fragrance. It's very light. Fades quickly on the skin. Fresh, clean, beautiful scent that has nothing to do with the original Addict except for similar bottle design. I got it in the swap expecting some resemblance to the original and keeping in my collection just for the heck of it. I'm sure I will use it up, it would just take some time :) Dior Addict, in the tall dark blue bottle, is an obsession of mine. I have original versions in the bottle with the gold cap, as well as more recent formulations which do better on me since the newer formulation does not trigger allergies the way the original did. (As a side note, the original J'adore was gorgeous and yet immediately triggered my allergies so I could have predicted J'adore would go through a major reformulation since it had such strong allergens...) Anyhow, because I love Dior Addict above all else and believe it is magic, I had to get a bottle of the Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle. I wish I had read all of the accurate reviews here first, because this is zero like the Dior Addict in the blue bottle. This has almost no Dior Addict dna. It is a clean, fresh scent that smells like you just washed something. It is fresh. It is clean. It is no big deal. Yes, the jasminey watery rose is light and fairly calming, but honestly, this belongs in the cleaning closet -- that is how focused on clean and fresh it is. I will still keep it because I love the bottle, which is in my beloved Dior Addict family for sure, with the squared edges and twist-to-spray top. Love the bottle and the pale purple color to the juice. But scent-wise, it is criminal to put this in the same family as the lush, truly sexy Dior Addict. It belongs in a completely different family, more like Clinique Happy or something equally bright and clean. Ugh. It is a very safe, feminine and polite floral. The rose is present but softened, not pungent at all. It's not powdery or soapy, but smells very clean and stays very close to the skin.
