It would have been very on trend for 2012 and would appeal to people who want to wear perfume, and are happy to spend money on a prestigious brand, but are not really sure what they like and so they play it safe. The citrusy opening in DAEF is very appealing but the sweeter element in the heart of the fragrance - pomegranate I guess - is a tad cloying for me. Juice is very pretty. I picked up my 50ml bottle at a thrift store for $20, only about 5ml used. So, a bargain - I guess. (I'm just as happy with the sterling silver tree of life pendant I got at the same time for $10.) A little gathering of dust around the top of the cap suggests the previous owner let it sit about for a while. But I'll give it plenty of wears before I decide what to do with it. It's winter here, so I'll wait for some warmer weather. I’m so surprised to read of all the reviewers that find this fragrance to be unlasting. I can literally still smell this strongly on my skin the following day. Amazing for an EDT! I appreciate the freshness of it when it’s hot in the summertime. A happy, feel good summertime fragrance. Strangely I get some nuance of icing sugar when the heart notes come out. Can’t imagine what that’s about but it makes me smile non the less. Very enjoyable. This last insanely FOREVER on my skin. Reminds of the scent of a thermal spray I put in my hair not long ago. Definitely should not be in the Addict line. Apparently, Fraiche is used here to mean "gone in a flash." This disappears completely in about 30 minutes. It's not even present as a skin scent after half an hour It's a shame. This fragrance would be a nice office scent if it made it past the morning commute. This is uplifting and shampooey. I don't detect any particular notes, but what I get is clean, fresh, safe, girly and ultimately just forgettable. I like to use it before I hit the gym. It's non-offensive and doesn't last for long. But hey, it's nice while it lasts! I like the scent very much, nice fresh citrusy - floral with prominent grapefruit note.
