Hmmm it also, very much so, remind me of Tuscany and summers in the Provence. Lovely combination of notes that evokes a warm summerbreeze carrying a fragrant trail of mandarin trees being made warm and intensified by jasmin and vanille 👏👏👏 excellent to inspire spring and summervibes during this season of transition. I have the 2002 version and this one is slightly similar, but not the same :( The 2002 version is a vanillic-petitgrain winter scent. The vanilla in this is much weaker, it's overall softer and powdery instead of resinous, and it also has an indolic note...! Overall, weaker, more boring, with a touch of a poop note. Way to go to ruin a great scent :( It's a beautiful fragrance. It's smooth to me, with heady, lush white florals, something green and some orange in there and sandalwood and vanilla in the base. Suitable for evening wear all year round and good in the day during colder weather. This EDP version has reasonable silage and longevity and I hope they don't discontinue it. I don't see it displayed on Dior counters any more but if you ask they often have it hidden away. Such a shame they don't promote it as it will fall in popularity if they don't and younger customers won't know about it. With vanilla fragrances nowadays I get a lot of sickly and sticky concoctions that give me headaches, but Dior Addict is deliciously bitter and inedible and I LOOOVE IT!! My favourite vanilla fragrance to this day👌 dior addict is one of those scents that immediately pulled me in. it’s definitely a white floral, but there’s so much more happening underneath. there’s a woody, slightly dusty, almost smoky layer that grounds the florals, and that’s exactly what i love about it. i also get a lot of violet, but not sharp or overly powdery, more like a soft, white-violet presence. the whole scent feels rich, cozy, and comforting without being heavy. wearing it feels like sitting next to a fireplace with a fresh bouquet of flowers, war...
