Terre has had the complete turnaround multiple times in my perception of it. The first time I smelled "terre" was actually smelling a dupe of it by replay. Instantly I brushed it off as a teenager's immature fragrance because it reminded me of not so bright boys in high school. Couple of years back I finally had a chance to find the original in a store and test it. And this time it was the complete opposite. A grandpa smell that just smells like a worse version of versace l'homme (I have no idea how I got this). Next time I had to try again and it smelled like a cleaning product with woods and pepper Finally today I could understand the hype behind this fragrance. Somehow all this time I missed the strong orange note. It must be because I only recently started realizing what orange fragrances are and how they smell. Also it has grapefruit note but it's one of the most realistic grapefruit notes I have smelled. Everytime a new fragrance with top grapefruit note comes out I have to scratch the top(?) of the barrel to find it. In this one it's effortlessly present. I hate when people say "I finally get it" but I really am starting to get this fragrance and the whole terre line. Friendly tip, spray on skin. Terre line isn't the best on paper Cool college professor vibes. I don’t get the whole age thing when it comes to fragrances. Just wear what you like. But I can see if I was wanting to wear something a little more professional and inoffensive, this is one I would reach for. Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely not a boring scent.
