A 2016 evolution of the "Water of Wonders," this scent is a masterclass in texture. It's not your typical "marine" fragrance; it’s a fantasy captured in a blue bottle. The opening is all about the "silky smoothness of water." Unlike the original's bright citrus, "Bleue" focuses on a saline, mineral mist. What’s impressive here is the marine accord—it lacks the synthetic sharpness often found in aquatic scents. Instead, it feels like a transparent veil of water, cool and incredibly refined. The DNA of the original woody notes remains, but with a salty accent that mimics the texture of cold seawater and smooth sea pebbles. It feels like driftwood washed ashore in a dream. I like that I can wear it anywhere and nobody would be bothered by this scent. Christine Nagel is my favourite perfumer as she creates so elegant yet WEARABLE scents. Longevity: 2 hours (3h max). Poor but what you can expect from EDT when it +25 degrees Celsius outside. I wish they would do EDP of this scent, it would make me sooo happy. Can’t wait for the summer to wear it again! Wow. A deceptively simple composition that is distinctly Hermès. Fresh, but with no citrus crutches, there’s no citrus here! The marine notes are handled with such precision, no seaweed grit, no salty harshness, no detergent, no “sporty” aquatics. It's clean, translucent and luminous. And yet - for all its elegance - it carries a strange emotional undertow. It evokes a touch of sadness and nostalgia in me. This doesn’t diminish its quality, if anything, it confirms how deep the olfactory experience goes. It moves somewhere in the subconscious, stirri...
