I accept no debate All I need to say is that whoever complains about the cumin in this has missed the whole point completely; both in this creation & in high perfumery in general. Overall feelings- this fragrance is both heaven and hell, and i dont say that as some sort of high art compliment- i prefer to actually thoroughly love something through and through. This piqued my interest a while back, i am a jaun claude ellena fan and really wanted to know what the reference fragrance that would end up shaping his entire career (and only perfume he actually wears if im not mistaken) smells like. And every hermes frag ive tried felt like decent quality yet disappointingly unadventurous or just not really beautiful to me, and this one sounded like a standout in their catalogue that took some bolder risks and has some firm fans that swear by it having a sensual x-factor. Still i didnt want to spend the money at the time just for a curiosity- but these have been cheap online lately so i finally blind bought a full bottle (not recommended, i know) So people know where my proclivities stand-I am of the belief that loving to smell good and loving animalics should not be considered mutually exclusive sentiments- i love human-emulating animalics, i like the way cumin and caraway can emulate BO, bc BO doesnt intrinsically smell bad- we all are attracted to the way certain people naturally smell pheromonally, we just dont like certain kinds of BO. i love peppery and sawdusty musks on men, to quote tom ford i like when a fragr...
