This is super sharp on me--even bordering on plasticky but with a spiciness to it. I'm not getting any rose or vanilla whatsoever. However, 6 hours later and I can begin to detect a familiarity to it. I've definitely smelled this back 10-20 years ago. This is definitely a scent reminiscent of the 2000's. I second the review from skinscentsforfusspots. I got a bottle today and it's amazing If you miss this version of Forever and Ever, maybe try the Superdrug Artiscent Atelier Eau De Parfum in Vanille Blush. It's not on Fragrantica yet, but I bought it recently for a bargain price and it does indeed smell like a slightly spicy and muskier version of the current Forever and Ever when it dries down. I wrote more on the listing for the current version if you're interested :) This rosy scent has a little spice to it. This is summer and spring. Its light but still noticeable. Mmmm very creamy and unique. I mean this older version bottle rather than the new one. The vintage has a marzipan scent to it, a sort of rose, marzipan, powdery/creamy mix. Very feminine, quite grown up yet doesnt take itself too seriously. This is a warm freesia + rose perfume with a some heat from spice. On me its not particularly sweet (not a sweet fan anyway) and has a nice greenness and depth to it from the ivy and geranium. I don't pick up any vanilla or almond from the almond blossom note. This is professional, work-appropriate, and has a nice "expensive fancy soap" and shampoo-y drydown to it. I got this as a gift (part of a mini set) when i was a teenager, and I have to say that i really miss the scent. The new version of it is not quite...there. It was a lovely, lovely floral. Not heady, moderately sweet and not powdery. Makes me nostalgic when i think about it... If you wanna have this perfume in a cheaper version, try Addict sensuelle, very similar. However, this later one was also discountinued... This is a beautiful perfume, I still have the bottle even though it went dry a long time ago. It reminds me of summer in Montreal.
